We have certainly been sold on the idea that 'enlightenment' is of one flavour or kind. It's not that the several traditions that emphasise (their particular take on) liberation are wrong. Or only one is true because its metaphysical propositions are 'right'. Or that they are more correct than other traditions that do not speak of (their take on) liberation.
If we enter into the Mystery... there are roles to play.
This is exactly the kind of topic that one can apply Yogic Vision to. Once one becomes familiar with the discernment of presence, there are practices and techniques for this.
